May 30th- Something old something new;

 For 22 years I ran my own very small tour business from Yukon from Japan, to China- Mongolia, then retired in 1997.From January 02 of 2014, I will make a come back and re introduce two tours.

One is to Yukon Canada ( January 1st to 6th)  to see the 'Northern Lights',to dog sled,meet experts in climate change,meet Native people and see their art and hear their stories and a lot more. Watch for more information coming soon !

Tour- New Delhi, Cairo and Casablanca

The second will be for young film makers and historians who are interested in travel and history. This tour will be from December 01 to December 15th, 2013. We will visit New Delhi, Cairo,Crete and Morocco. You can also watch or assist as I start two scenes for my newest film!

EDES Project -Soma ! is now complete. The event and race was very successful, about 768 people came and ran.Many people without homes, staying in temp homes, came out to cheer, all seemed very happy to see the return of this event.

Regarding tsunami debris:  Update : May 01st to 14th :

We will still keep an eye on the debris story, with most of our information coming from the University of Hawaii. Look for an update mid October.

 There is still a need to watch out for floating trees ,logs and plastics. New photos can be found on EDES tab #1 . There are fewer reports of debris but the time for the debris to actually reach NA shores is expected to be in 2013 -right to the end of that year, so we will keep this information as up to date as we can for the year 2013. November of 2013 will conclude our activities regarding this research.

OCE is an NGO advocate,educator,catalyst and facilitator, promoting the wise use of the planets resources ,in particular 'freshwater, for the future of our children. OCE works with many partners,universities, schools, private business, NPO, NGO ,the media and civil society along with the film industries in Japan, China ,Philippines & Canada. We also hold seminars,events, produce eco & feature films. Our newest project for 2011 is EDES, educating staff of foreign businesses located in Japan on surviving earthquakes and other disasters and the 'North Pacific Debris progress reports( You Tube address -ocec3 )

2010年に、ここで開始されたコマーシャルフィルムは、2013年の春に完成させる 'FireLand'と呼ばれる最初の短編映画となります。
2013年から、ユーコンやモロッコでも撮影を開始し、もう２つの映画を製作致します。
